I’m a life-long community organizer and human rights advocate. When I moved to Denver 8 years ago I was enamored with what our city has to offer. The incredible open sky, the beautiful parks, unique small businesses, and amazing community members that deeply care about their city. However, as I started statewide work to increase public education funding and fix our tax code, I saw first-hand how wealthy corporations infiltrate our political systems to undermine our values. I've spent my career fundraising for and supporting organizations fighting for reproductive justice, first amendment rights, and climate justice, while organizing and bargaining for staff unions.
